HONEY MOON SPIRIT LOUNGE
This newer neighborhood restaurant + cocktail lounge opened about a year ago on W. 34th Street! Local couple, Reed Calhoun and Adrienne Wiggins are two lovebirds whose wedding and honeymoon took the backseat due to the pandemic. Instead of dwelling on their change of plans, they started this passion project and created a restaurant to share their love by serving elevated comfort food and quality spirits!
THE SPACE
The ambiance is one of the most appealing aspects of the restaurant. Both indoors and outdoors, find vintage chandeliers and mirrors, a collection of antiques, and eclectic decor elements that put off a French Parisian vibe! Bright shades of red, velvet accents, marble tables, woven bistro chairs, striped umbrellas, and twinkle lights to top it all off! This whimsical oasis with jewel-toned lighting brings focus to the 20th-century-inspired bar.
THE BAR
Speaking of the bar, they have a fabulous selection of classic cocktails made with juices and zests of fresh garnish! A popular and personal fav is the HoneyMoon Marg. They also feature a classic Old Fashioned, crisp Moscow Mules, and a few with odes to citrus liqueur! Plus, a terrific wine list and local beers and ciders on tap!
THE MENU
Featuring diverse options of comfort food and American shared plates. Start with fresh raw oysters and upscale dips and cheeses. You can’t go wrong with a burger and fries or fancy it up with ‘Duck Confit’ or the ‘Wagyu Steak’. And if you don’t get the truffle fries, you’ve made a big mistake! Also, top off your meal with one of their desserts…we vote for banana pudding!
HOURS + HAPPY HOUR
Open on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4 pm to 10 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 4 pm to 11 pm, Sunday brunch from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Enjoy ‘Happy Hour’ on Tuesdays through Fridays from 4 pm to 5:30 pm and Wednesday all night with 1/2 off bottles!
