If you aren’t familiar with Cenote, it is time to join the club! This nostalgic all-day cafe has been open in Austin for over ten years, with French-pressed coffee, farm-fresh American eats & Texas craft beer!

CENOTE

Another coffee shop that serves booze…we love to see it! Opened by Cody Symington and Mary Jenkins who dreamed of opening a business in the neighborhood they called home. At the time in 2011, there weren’t many local joints around serving great coffee + food so they turned their dreams into reality! Find this gem on E. Caesar Chavez!

EAT

Stop in on the weekday or weekend to experience their full-fledged menu. From breakfast tacos to sandwiches to local roasted veggie plates to burgers and hot honey fried chicken, they strive to use only the highest quality and all-natural ingredients possible. They also focus on supporting Texas farmers and offer organic, non-GMO and even gluten-free products!

DRINK

Part coffeehouse, part wine bar, part tap room! Find a full range of beverages - mainly locally sourced and organic! They have Texas craft beer and a fabulous wine list! And the most important part…their coffee! So fresh, so rich and so flavorful!

HANG OUT

Open daily, come on Monday through Wednesday from 7am to 4pm, Thursday through Friday from 7am to 8pm, Saturdays from 8am to 8pm, and Sundays 8am to 4pm! Their patio is absolutely perfect right now. Bring your laptop, get the crew together for brunch, bring your dogs, and so much more!

AND A FUN FACT

The East Austin building was built in 1887 and appears on the VERY first hand-drawn map of Austin! The structure, design, and integrity of the building remains intact!
