Started in 1948 as Arkie’s Grill, this eastside diner opened its doors quickly becoming a community favorite for its hearty breakfasts and personable hospitality. Now, over 60 years later, Sawyer & Co carries on the legacy, honoring Arkie’s community spirit while honoring their southern roots
 

HOME COOKIN' VIBES

Committed to serving comfort food with a hint of vintage charm, the retro diner has classic Southern dishes, as well as traditional diner food. Brunch is available until 5pm, featuring original creations like the Brunch Smashburger. Their outdoor patio coffee shop, the Spartan, serves delicious, crafted drinks! We enjoyed:

🍅  Fried Green Tomatoes: topped w/ a delicious whipped goat cheese & pecan chili crunch

🍗  Chicken Fried Steak: crispy, tender chicken served with mashed potatoes, red eye gravy topped with arugula, radish, and pickled peppers
