Civil Goat started in the eclectic Cuernavaca neighborhood of Austin’s West Lake Hills, where artisans, makers, and creatives shaped the area that still inspires the brand today. Their incredible team loves helping people to slow down, creatives fostering new ideas and conversations, and coffee lovers who source beans from sustainable farms across the globe! All while serving delicious coffee classics and cafe bites to fuel you through the day! Plus, all their locations are great spots to remote work!

The new East Austin cafe brings everything people love about Civil Goat into a fresh space designed for connection and creativity. Think: local artist displays, plenty of natural light, garage doors that open out onto a breezy patio, and a layout that’s perfect for WFH sessions. Pair that with their signature specialty brews and classic coffee menu, and you’ve got your new go-to hangout on the Eastside. We stopped by to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and a few of our CG favorites:
