Fat Rabbit is the newest brunch and bar concept, which opened on October 1st! This new breakfast haven draws its inspiration from the owners’ rescued rabbit, Rusty, and is bringing all the elevated cottage charm and delicious cocktails to downtown Austin! Plus, it’s just steps away from the trail and has a parking lot out front that’s FREE (which is a big win for downtown dining)!
DELICIOUS NIBBLES AND BITES
Grab classic brunch favorites with playful, elevated twists from sweet and savory bites like house-made biscuits, and seasonal muffins are perfect for a morning pick-me-up. For lunch, enjoy salads, sandwiches, and smash burgers to fill you for the day! And don’t forget to pair them all with their coffee or cocktail offerings that are as stunning as they are delicious! Enjoying your meal nestled amongst wallpapered nooks, floor-to-ceiling windows, and walls covered in rabbit artwork and sculptures! This whimsical yet sophisticated spot is perfect for a morning or midday bite, with every corner steeped in nostalgic charm, from antique copies of The Velveteen Rabbit on the shelves to beautifully hand-embossed rabbits on the bar top.
