Handel’s opened its doors 78 years ago in Youngstown, Ohio, when Alice Handel began serving ice cream at her husband’s gas station. Today, it’s a popular Ohio-based ice cream chain, and Austin can now savor its sweet legacy. Chad + Alyse Hughes opened the first Austin location in Anderson Mill and the lines are forming!
