This neighborhood hangout comes from Josh Hare’s vision to create a spot where good sandwiches and cold beers can fuel the desire for community! But who’s Dan? He’s a friendly coach or a beloved local fishing-expert! He’s a persona embodying the approachable vibe this place aims to create. Where you can unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures, nostalgia & company without skimping on quality ingredients!

GOOD OLD VIBES

Drawing inspiration from rural Texas marinas and bait shops, this bait-shop meets bodega meets bar offers the perfect space for a bite after fishing Lady Bird Lake or a quick lunch catching up with your dad! With fish fries, boards where you can show off a photo of your best catch, large patio and find plenty of items you can take to-go, Handsome Dans really is a spot to be whatever you make it!

They’re serving up perfectly crafted, classic sandwiches and an ice-cold beer selection that hits the spot – including local brews, their own Rick’s Near Beer (first in TX!), & that classic Champagne Velvet. It’s that spot where you can just grab a solid meal and a cold one, no fuss! Plus all the sandwiches are served with a bag of Siete chips! We enjoyed:
