Sometimes Texas gets a warm January day, and that calls for a refreshing drink and tasty burger at one of Austin’s favorites. Pool Burger is the perfect place to break dry January or your new years diet!
Located off of Lake Austin Boulevard beside Deep Eddy Cabaret sits Pool Burger, a local tiki bar and restaurant serving up mean burgers and the chillest vibes. As part of the Moorman McGuire Hospitality Group, this burger spot features a 1968 Airstream where all the food-making magic happens.
Instantly transport island side with loud music playing from the speakers. Though the area is small, there is lots of seating featuring high tops and booths and in the backyard, find long tables, lawn chairs and tiki bar stools. The bar roof is lined with a palm tree skirt and all of the servers are most likely wearing Hawaiian shirts. Definitely a fun place to relax and have a drink + bite when the sun is out! Also, catch a game on the TV inside!
ON THE MENU
As stated in the name, they’re known for their burgers, which are all-natural, hormone-and-antibiotic free wagyu beef on homemade buns. Plus, absolute fire crinkle fries! They also offer classic island cocktails such as mai tais and frozen hurricanes, decorated with flowers or leaves of some sort. And if you have room, get some soft serve!

Stop by during the week or kick off your weekend with Pool Burger happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. Come and enjoy $5 frozen hurricanes and rosé or $2 red stripes!

Not only is Pool Burger a day time hang location, it is also a hot spot by night! DJs spin tunes Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to midnight so bring your dancing shoes and your late night cravings!
