Have you heard of Rosen's Bagel Co? Seen them in your local Whole Foods or coffee shops around town? Or maybe you’ve visited their pop up? We are excited to announce they have officially opened their first store front in Austin and we are giving you all the details below!
Updated January 2022
Tom Rosen, owner of Rosen’s, knew Austin wasn’t known for its bagel scene but wanted to change that! After finishing grad school at UT in 2017, he opened a pop-up shop at local favorite The Brew and Brew with dreams of opening a cafe. As of January 12th, that dream has finally come true. Congrats Tom and the Rosen team!
The Bagel 411
New York-style bagels including the classics: sesame, everything, poppy seed (you know the drill), mixed with some sweet and savory options. Featuring herby flavors like onion, parmesan or rosemary, plus house cured lox and egg sandwiches! Or maybe you need something more sugary like cinnamon raisin or blueberry. They seriously have it all!
This is where Rosen’s really stands out - their schmear options are out of this world! Another mix of savory and sweet options - they have classics like scallion and blueberry, alongside flavors that are so unique. Lime roasted poblano. Basil lemon. Almond pancake. Sun dried tomato. I mean, have you ever? (Also, a vegan option too!)

The Space
The space was designed by Austin local interior designer, Liliane Steckel, known for her work at Better Half Bar, East Ciders, Bird Bird Biscuit and Bangers! They are still currently finalizing the details of the indoor and outdoor space. The good news is there will be plenty of seating both inside and outside. Plus, a drive thru is in the works!
MORE ON THE MENU
Coffee and espresso from Tiny House Coffee Roasters is on the menu, as well! You can’t have a bagel without your morning cup of Joe! Matzo ball soup and salads with bagel croutons are also on the horizon for lunchtime!
