We kicked off our weekend by stopping into Blue Suede, the cutest and most creative concept we’ve seen touch down in Austin in quite awhile! Shoe shopping mixed with wine, treats, and a cozy, colorful lounge!

BLUE SUEDE

This fantastic space opened its doors in early January on South 1st! Blue Suede, is a female-founded shoe and accessory boutique with urban decor, fantastic art, and to die for shoe brands! This concept was created by two friends who had a love for shopping, shoes and sipping. 
 

THE SPACE

They hit the nail on the head when it comes to hip, trendy, and stylish. As you walk in, you are greeted with tall shoe displays that instantly catch your eye. Followed by the most stunning, urban bar featuring pops of mustard yellow, and blue. These colors are seen throughout in the paint color, Andy Warhol-inspired wallpaper, and lounge seating. Plus, indoor exposed brick found beside funky artwork by famous, Ashley Longshore!

THE SHOES

Everywhere you turn, you will find a shoe style you must take home! Brands like Jeffrey Campbell, Dolce Vita, Matisse, Seychelles and many more notable designers! All the styles from high top tennis shoes, white booties, studded heels, and metallic cowboy boots…all under $500! Not shopping for shoes? That’s okay! They have incredible bags, jewels, and goodies too!

WINE & CHEESE PLEASE

Stay awhile and enjoy select alcoholic beverages and small bite offerings, from local brands of Austin Eastciders and Austin Beerworks. A small, but well rounded list of reds, whites, rosés and sparklings, plus cheese boards made with Antonelli’s Cheese. Sunday mimosas available by carafe and happy hour deals on Wednesday with 1/2 off bottles of wine!

MORE OFFERINGS

Or indulge with coffee from Austin Roasting Company including Giddy Up cold brew and pastries from well known Bakery, Word of Mouth. Also, small bite classic bar snacks like nuts, olives, and caramel popcorn! 

Perfect for any day shopping, but would be ideal for a bachelorette party, birthday party, or a celebratory outing! Shoes, let’s get some shoes!
