SOUR DUCK MARKET
From the same team behind popular local restaurants, Odd Duck and Barley Swine, Sour Duck Market opened in 2018. You can expect the same quality of food from its more formal sister spots, just in a more casual environment! Find it off E MLK, down from the Butter Half mural!
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Sour Duck Market offers handcrafted baked goods made with flour milled locally, and is known for its meats, smoked daily in a 1000-gallon pit smoker. The menu is super approachable and has a range of items from a soft seeded pretzel with queso to smoked chicken with potatoes. No matter what you order, be sure to try one of their incredible pastries. Also, find a lengthy list of coffee esque beverages, cocktails, beers + wines!
ATMOSPHERE
With plenty of picnic tables, big looming trees and hanging lights, the large patio has that classic Austin patio feel, perfect for hanging out while you enjoy your meal. The space is both dog and kid-friendly, and open on Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 9pm (or 10 pm on weekends) so a perfect all day place to hang.
